Sanctum

Sanctum is a study in quiet gravity—an artwork that explores the pull of the sacred through movement, restraint, and form. At its core rests the Kaaba, rendered in deep black with a single line of gold, positioned slightly off-centre. This intentional placement creates a sense of inward motion, as textured currents sweep toward it in soft, circular rhythms—echoing the spiritual orbit of tawaf.

The composition is both minimal and deeply expressive. The surrounding surface is hand-sculpted using layered plaster and textured mediums, carefully shaped into flowing, concentric movements.
